A COMPANY headed by the Countess of Wessex has falsely claimed the backing of the British Government to help it sell luxury goods to wealthy Americans.
In her determination to infiltrate the lucrative US markets using her Royal status, she allowed the company's promotional material to carry an alleged endorsement from the Department of Trade and Industry and the Foreign Office.
