Why Business Valuation?
Accountants who are interested in expanding their practices are looking beyond the traditional bastions of practice tax and audit practice. One area that has received considerable attention recently is business valuation. Business valuation falls under the larger category of "New Finance" and its future is very promising. During the next fifteen to twenty years, a vast amount of wealth is expected to be transferred from one generation to the next. Much of this will be in the form of personal and business wealth that will require valuation for estate and gift taxation purposes.
