Since minor-league baseball players don't earn near the amount of money that major-leaguers do, you might wonder what minor leaguers do during the off-season to earn money.
Well, Schaumburg Flyers pitchers Todd Genke and Val Mencas sure know how to keep themselves busy.
Genke has been working as a schoolteacher for the past five years. The native of Milwaukee, recently moved to the Chicagoland area after being hired at Davis Elementary School in St. Charles, where he serves as a Health/PE teacher for students.
