Jun. 6--South Carolina's academic, government and business communities must work together to satisfy the need for information technology workers, according to industry representatives.
More than 150 people from software companies and organizations across the state met Tuesday in Columbia for the first S.C. South Carolina Software Workforce Summit.
The summit was designed to discuss ways the state can develop a stronger supply of software employees.
