THEY had all been part of the life of Bond, James Bond, and when the counting was over last night their value totalled nearly [pounds sterling]600,000.
The sale of 291 lots of 007 memorabilia by Christie's in London brought memories flooding back of Sean Connery and Ursula Andress, Roger Moore and Timothy Dalton, the villains, the girls, and of course, current 007 Pierce Brosnan.
There were clothes and gadgets, guns and golden bullets, spanning 35 years - from 1962's Dr No right up to 1997's Tomorrow Never Dies.
An Aston Martin from GoldenEye was bought for nearly [pounds sterling]160,000 as a Valentine's Day ...
