BRISTOL, R.I. _ Anthony Quinn, who traveled the world in 65 years as an actor, fell in love with a tree in his back yard here. His widow is asking the town to allow her to bury the actor, who died Sunday morning at age 86, under that tree.
"When I go for a walk where I live in Rhode Island, I know all the trees and all the birds, and they all have names," Quinn, a two-time Oscar winner, said in an interview with The New York Times last September. "There's a maple tree right in front of where I have breakfast every morning, and I've fallen in love with it. It's just a wonderful tree."
