Tesco is extending its thrust in the personnel arena to cater for customers shopping for a new career.
It has started trials of a free government sponsored internet point for jobseekers.
It partnered with the Department of Education and Employment for a six-month trial of two Jobsearch touch screen points at its Luton Metro store. Jobpoints have also been installed in Tesco's Port Talbot store.
Employment minister Tessa Jowell said: "Jobpoints in supermarkets offer jobseekers a convenient opportunity to search for work. The agreement between the Employment Service and Tesco to install Jobpoints in supermarkets is a great example of public and ...
