DAILY Mail and General Trust, owner of the Evening Standard and Mail newspapers, said today that good forward bookings suggested a recovery in the display advertising market in the final quarter of its financial year.
In the first six months to 1 April adjusted pre-tax profits were stable at [pound]71.6 million compared with [pound]72.4 million in the first half of 2000.
