BLINDA Elt's hair was always her crowning glory.
But when she entrusted her glossy, waist-length tresses to a salon for a perm she was left looking 'like Worzel Gummidge'.
Yesterday, the 53-year-old widow won [pound]4,000 in damages from the Miles Ahead Studio in Barnstaple, Devon.
She had agreed that her [pound]22.45 perm could be carried out by a junior at the salon.
Just 14 months into her two-year training, the junior was to be supervised by salon owner Desmond Miles.
