EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. - As a youngster in Montreal, Raymond Bourque used to skip part of the day from school and sneak downtown to watch the Canadiens' Stanley Cup parades.
He stood on St. Catherine's Street and dreamed about being in one of those parades, like his heroes, Serge Savard, Guy Lapointe and Larry Robinson. He fantasized about what it would be like to hoist the Cup over his head and skate around the ice.
