Article: Adjustment of commercial trawling effort for Atlantic cod, Gadus morhua, due to increasing catching efficiency.(Statistical Data Included)

Abstract--A learning curve analysis is applied to model the change in effort units with time by the commercial fishery for Atlantic cod (Gadus morhua) in the Barents Sea. The results indicate that fishing efficiency has increased and that the adjusted commercial catch per unit of effort (CPUE) is more strongly related with stock abundance.
