Medium is the message
John O'Malley's recent article "Interpreting Vatican II: Version Two" (March 9) is wise, measured, faithful, and has a panoramic clarity that is born of meticulous respect for detail and nuance. His rhetoric embodies the style he identifies so wonderfully.

I heartily applaud Commonweal for continuing the discussion of Vatican II and the papacy of John Paul II ("Interpreting Vatican II").
