The sun began shining again on Elk Grove Village Youth Baseball Thursday evening as the park district stopped calling for baseball board resignations, and returned more than $8,000 in baseball money it has been holding for more than two weeks.
Baseball board members announced Thursday that former Baseball Commissioner George T. Lycos had been barred from his role as a youth baseball manager and would have to relinquish the baseball uniforms and equipment he still has in his possession.
Lycos was arrested Monday evening by Elk Grove Village police and charged with stealing $94,000 in youth baseball ...
