Jun. 13--The bankrupt developer of the commercial portion of the redevelopment of Sears, Roebuck and Co.'s former West Side headquarters is putting the properties up for auction after an earlier deal collapsed.
Sae Young Westmont-Chicago LLC, which six months ago filed for Chapter 11 protection from creditors, will auction off its interests in the Homan Square development on June 27, according to a notice filed in the federal bankruptcy court case in Chicago by attorney Alan S. Farnell, who represents Sae Young.
