RIYADH, June 13 Asia Pulse - Tourism officials in Ash-Sharqiyya district of Saudi Arabia announced Monday that the tourist agencies of that country will establish charter flights to Tehran for the first time since the Persian Gulf war.

This move is, according to the Saudi tourism officials an evolution in tourism ties between Iran and Saudi Arabia. Saudi daily `Al Watan' in its Monday issue covered the story, writing, "the Saudi tourism officials are seeking lofty benefits that the Ash-Sharqiyya potential tourists interested in travelling to Iran can guarantee for them."
