Game Boy Advance, Nintendo's new handheld video-game system, lives up to its name with a bigger screen and faster performance than its predecessor, Game Boy Color, introduced 2{ years ago.
But what I or other critics think is largely irrelevant, because Advance is a guaranteed hit. Nintendo has no serious competition in handheld games, and the Game Boy franchise is particularly hot thanks to the wildly popular Pokemon series of virtual pet action games.
There will be long lines of Game Boy fans waiting for pre-ordered units on June 11, the official launch date, although some stores may not have units on hand until two days later. Nintendo is promising ...
