INS WILL REGISTER ALIEN FARM WORKERS

ATLANTA, Aug. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Beginning Sept. 1, the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) will be accepting applications from alients as Replacement Agricultural Workers (RAW).

This is the last legalization program under the Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA) of 1986. The RAW program is designed to ensure that there is an adequate supply of seasonal farm workers in the United States and is open to both legal and illegal aliens in the U.S. and aliens abroad.
