QUESTION: Does anyone recall the words of the Fifties ragtime piece of music which ended with: 'All the rest that I haven't said, haven't been discovered'?
I THINK this refers to The Elements by Tom Lehrer, a satirist who performed in America in the Fifties and Sixties.
He was Professor of Mathematics at Harvard University, and achieved huge popularity with songs such as Poisoning Pigeons In The Park, The Masochism Tango and Be Prepared.
He still enjoys cult success, though he no longer performs.
The lyrics of The Elements are simply a list of the periodic table, set to the Gilbert and Sullivan tune I Am The Very Model Of A Modern ...
