DALLAS _ If things continue in their present direction, the lasting memories of Brett Hull as a Dallas Star may include a slew of strongly held opinions and entertaining sound bites.
Well, add a few other things, too.
He did what he was supposed to do when he signed: score goals, complement Mike Modano and deliver a Stanley Cup.
"He scored the goals they paid him to score and scored the goal everybody will remember in Dallas forever," Hull's agent, Michael Barnett, said. "Brett can ride with pride in Dallas knowing he played at a very high level in his three years."
