Jun. 17--Charlotte County resident Darryl Casanueva was aware of the possibility, but was not expecting it would happen to him.
So when he received a call from a government agency telling him his identity had been stolen, the news came as a shock to the 2nd District Court of Appeals judge.
"What can I do to stop this from happening further?" Casanueva said ran through his mind after the initial shock subsided.
Casanueva wanted to know who stole his identity, how his privacy could have been violated and how it could be stopped before something drastic ...
