SAN FRANCISCO -- As chief executive of Burberry based in London, Rose Marie Bravo might live and breathe Brittania, but deep down, she remains a bit of a California girl.
"I really love it here," she said last week during a visit that included accepting an honorary doctorate from the Academy of Art College here and a visit to the company's newest unit, the 8,000-square-foot Beverly Hills flagship, set to open in September.
