The old-school game-show host goes on.
But school is out in parts of TV land.
Veteran game-show host Tom Kennedy once summed up quizmasters as "people who are easy to be with, people who know how to graciously talk to other people and treat other people well in the course of the game."
Bob Barker certainly fits that bill. He has been hosting "The Price Is Right" since 1972 _ roughly four years before the birth of Heather Kozar, the Akron, Ohio native performing on the show.
Regis Philbin on "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" is another of the nice-guy hosts, although his annoyance with contestants has occasionally spilled out.
