Would you spend $65 for a 10.1-ounce bottle of shampoo? How about $85 for a same-size bottle of conditioner?
Michael Brady is banking on it.
Brady is president of Alterna, the Beverly Hills-based firm specializing in hair care products that has developed the expensive White Truffle Luxury shampoo and conditioner. The items are sold exclusively through salons.
"With everything so expensive now, we have to compromise on everything," Brady says. "People can't buy their dream home, their dream car or even the shoes they want. This is one small luxury where people can afford to buy the best in the world. It's fun to provide that for people."
