SINGAPORE, June 20 Asia Pulse - The landmark Westin Stamford hotel in Singapore's Raffles City will be relaunched as Swissotel Singapore, The Stamford, on January 1, 2002 when Raffles International Limited completes its takeover of the property.
Raffles International, the hotel arm of Raffles Holdings Limited, said it had completed the acquisition of Swissotel Hotels and Resorts on June 5.
The transaction brings the hotels and resorts under its control to 38 in 33 destinations under the three brands Raffles, Swissotel and Merchant Court.
