Many washers and dryers that were launched or shown at the Kitchen & Bath Show last month sported an Energy Star label and an updated, "curvy" look with rounded corners.
Maytag introduced an update of its Neptune washer, with a new, curvy back panel, and an LCD touchscreen or LED touchpad instead of knobs. The new washer will become available around Labor Day. Just as its predecessor, the new Neptune washer has a stain removal system, Stain Brain, with settings for up to 55 wash cycles for the most common stains.
