RETURNS TO WORK AFTER RECORD CROSS-COUNTRY BIKE TRIP
ATLANTA, Aug. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Michael Coles admits there aren't a lot of chief executives of $100 million companies who ride human-powered vehicles (HPV) to work every day.
Coles, 45, chairman of the Great American Chocolate Chip Cookie Company, adopted the unusual two-wheeled, pedal-driven pod five months ago for his daily roundtrip of about 65 miles. Said Coles, "Malcolm Forbes rides a Harley to work every day, so I guess this isn't that far out."
