There could be a tragedy waiting to happen if you haven't tested your home's Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters recently.
Commonly referred to as GFCIs, these are the electrical outlets you should have where water may come into contact with electrical appliances or products. You should have them in your bathroom, kitchen and laundry room, for example. They're designed to prevent electrocution if your body were to come into contact with water and electrical current running from an outlet (or an object such as a metal pipe able to conduct electrical current).
