HAVE A SEAT - have 151 seats. Upholstered over molded plywood, ``they're very nice and very comfortable,'' said Juliana Feeney, a representative of the Bootstrap Players of Hertford, N.C.
The maroon, straight-from-a-theater seats were purchased for $500. That's about $3.31 per seat, a veritable bargain for what the Bootstrap Players hope will be its future theater.
Since 1997, the seats have been part of the Cotton Gin Theater, home of the Smithfield Little Theater company in Smithfield. With the theater folk moving into a brand-new edifice a few feet away, the old building eventually will be be demolished. But before the ...
