Jun. 21--An automotive Nirvana. That's how automotive enthusiasts characterize Pueblo during the annual Rocky Mountain Street Nationals at the Colorado State Fairgrounds.
It's a time when Pueblo is transformed into a classic car haven by some 2,100 street rodders who gather to show their cars, swap parts and otherwise revel in the camaraderie of enthusiasts for the pre-1949 cars.
The street rodders began using Pueblo 17 years ago as a home base for one of their 11 national shows.
