TOKYO, Jun 22 Asia Pulse - Seiko Instruments Inc. (SII) said Thursday that it will take a 50 per cent stake in the Japanese sales unit of Fossil Inc. for 25 million yen (US$200,658) in order to market its watches in Japan through the U.S. wristwatch maker's networks.
SII, a wristwatch maker in the Seiko group, will acquire shares in Fossil Japan Co. on July 9. It aims to exploit Fossil's strong planning and marketing expertise to expand sales in Japan. An SII executive will become ...
