Jun. 22--Going overseas with its tasty delicacies have been a long-sought dream for Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.

With brand awareness at an all-time high domestically, and its stock still a darling on Wall Street, there's probably not a better time for Krispy Kreme to begin exporting its treats.

Despite that spotlight glow, Krispy Kreme's management has opted to take its sweet time before opening the doors in London, Tokyo or Mexico City.
