At a time when many culinary school graduates hope for jobs as saute chefs, line chefs or sous chefs, Vito Misceo is already running the kitchen.
Misceo, 22, recently took over as executive chef at Frenzy Brew House and Eatery in Woodridge, quite an accomplishment for a guy who graduated from Kendall College's culinary arts program a short year ago.
"I'm still shocked," said Misceo, a 1996 graduate from Lake Park High School in Roselle. "Most kids my age are still drinking beer in college.
"You have to step it up early, or you'll be left behind."
