Leading Mexican bread and baked-goods maker Grupo Bimbo will spend 8 million dollars to boost production capacity at a Fort Worth, Texas, plant operated by its U.S. subsidiary, Bimbo Bakeries USA, according to a report in Mexico City daily Reforma. The Fort Worth plant, one of Bimbo's largest in the United States, will take over production currently conducted at Bimbo's Mrs. Baird's Bakeries plant in Dallas, Texas.
