Boxers Laila Ali and Jacqui Frazier-Lyde delivered what they promised months before the long-anticipated June 8 bout--a good, hard fight.
What began as verbal sparring between the daughters of boxing legends Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier (JET, June 11), ended with "She-Bee-Stinging" Ali stepping out the ring as the winner over "Sister Smoke" Frazier-Lyde.
In the high-paced fight where there were no visible losers, Ali, 23, earned the majority decision after 8 rounds at the Tuning Stone Casino in Verona, NY.
