Cephalon, Inc. (Nasdaq: CEPH), an international biopharmaceutical company, announced today that ACTIQ(R) (oral transmucosal fentanyl citrate) has been granted marketing authorisation in 16 European countries via the Mutual Recognition Procedure. This action follows initial approval on October 9, 2000 of ACTIQ for marketing and sale in the United Kingdom.
Cephalon's marketing partners will begin discussions with national authorities regarding pricing and reimbursement in preparation for commercial launch. ...
