ECsoft Group plc ("ECsoft" or the "Company"; London: ECS; Nasdaq OTC: ECSGY) announces that on 28 June 2001 it purchased 105,000 ordinary shares in the Company for cancellation. The average price paid was 789.29p per share. This marks the third series of purchases by the Company of its own shares, since the renewal of the authority to purchase up to 1,539,653 of its own shares at the AGM on 9 May 2001.
