Since 1978, Commercial Carrier Journal and the National Private Truck Council, Alexandria, Va., have co-sponsored the Commercial Fleet Graphics Awards to recognize individual and corporate commitments to excellence in the design and use of commercial vehicle markings.
There are three good reasons why that purpose remains valid, and why CCJ and the NPTC continue to coordinate, sponsor and publicize these awards:
* Encouraging good-looking equipment is good for our industry because attractive trucks enhance the public's perception of the motor carrier industry and establish the right example for all commercial vehicle operators to follow;
