Roche reports falling emissions for 2000.

The Swiss multinational pharmaceutical group, F. Hoffmann-La Roche, said that "the most important group sites are taken into account" in its safety and environmental protection (S&E) 2000 report and so the data on emissions, waste generation and other key environmental parameters represent, on average, 95% of the group total. Sites report data to a central database via the group intranet and, immediately prior to consolidation, the database is isolated to prevent subsequent alteration of submitted data.
