Computer Associates International, Inc. (NYSE: CA) announced that it filed its preliminary proxy statement today with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Upon receiving SEC clearance, the proxy statement will be mailed to shareholders of record as of July 5, 2001, in advance of the Company's August 29, 2001 annual meeting.
