HAMPTON -- So much went so wrong so fast.
A mother on the way home from vacation is abducted along with her infant son. Hours later, she is found dead; her son dehydrated and sunburned. A suspect is arrested and charged, and the woman's husband, reunited with his son, goes to stay with out-of-state relatives to start putting his life back together.
What's left behind is the couple's former life, which roams their neighborhood like a ghost.
