Three weeks of trial testimony in Jefferson County detailing the extreme danger of breathing an invisible amount of beryllium raises some questions:

Beryllium is so light and strong that Brush Wellman Inc. of Cleveland, which last week won a landmark product liability lawsuit, sells about $250 million worth of beryllium and beryllium alloys every year.
During the trial in Golden, beryllium was described as ``the most deadly element of all time.''
