The network of primes and subcontractors in the region are investing and adapting to stay at the forefront of the industry
Airbus is by far the largest employer in S.W. France, and the A380 programme will further reinforce its dominance of the industry in the region. In addition to the aircraft produced by Airbus, Dassault Aviation, ATR and EADS Socata, facilities based in this part of France are major contributors to launch vehicle, satellite and propulsion programmes.
