LONDON -- French Connection PLC will today announce the appointment of Andrea Hyde as president of its U.S. operations as part of a major drive to boost its profile in the American market, WWD has learned.
Hyde, 36, will join French Connection in July from Kenneth Cole Productions, where she has been senior vice president of marketing for the last two years. Prior to that she was special assistant to the chairman and vice president of marketing at French Connection in London. It was during that time that French Connection began developing its eye-catching FCUK ad campaign.
