MILAN -- Leapfrogging ahead of Prada in the initial public offering sweepstakes, Loro Piana is planning to offer up to a quarter of its stock to the public to expand its wholesaling and retailing activities.
According to industry sources here, the luxury apparel and textile company is planning an IPO by the end of this summer.
