Q. What can we do about camelback bugs in our house?
A. "I am guessing that you are talking about camel crickets," said Jeff Hahn, entomology supervisor for the University of Minnesota's Yard and Garden Clinic. "They are tan, humped-backed and have a body length of about 3/4 inch."
Unlike field crickets, camel crickets are wingless. They can readily enter a home but do not usually reproduce indoors. They prefer damp conditions and like to hide under objects.
