NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 5, 2001
CIBC World Markets said today that Eli Shani has been hired as investment banking representative in Israel. CIBC World Markets is the investment banking arm of the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (NYSE:BCM).
Shani, 36, brings a wide range of investment banking experience to CIBC World Markets, most recently as a vice president in the mergers and acquisitions group at Credit Suisse First Boston and prior to that with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. He will report to Marshall Heinberg, Managing Director and Head of U.S. Technology and Telecom Investment Banking for CIBC World Markets.
