Application Layer Of MAP
If you have stayed abreast of the development of Manufacturing Automation Protocol (MAP) you are aware that its progress has been slower than predicted. The MAP 3.0 specification was released in June, 1988 with the for six years. So why hasn't the application of MAP 3.0 local area networks (LANs) flourished as predicted?
