ABSTRACT
Previous work conducted by the National Research Council reviewed empirical evidence and published factorial estimates for the ideal ratios of amino acids to lysine for finishing pigs. The present review examines information published after 1997 in an at tempt to offer an update on the ideal amino acid profile for finishing pigs.
In 1998, the National Research Council (NRC, 1998) reviewed empirical evidence and published factorial estimates for the ideal ratios of amino acids to lysine for finishing pigs (Table 1).
