Rice peel is being disputed for energy power generating. Two companies at Rio Grande do Sul state Camil, and Urbano already operate thermal electric facilities by using rice peel as raw material. The same strategy will be also adopted by SantaLucia Alimentos and Josapar. Camil's facility was installed by PTZ Fontes Alternativa de Energia, is able to produce 4,5 Mw, and consumes 9 m tons of rice ...
