Alaska Marine Highway manager George Capacci says Bellingham runs are system's lone money-makers

George Capacci, general manager of the Alaska Marine Highway System, has had a challenging first year on the job, but it is easy for him to choose one of his biggest early success stories.

"Getting a second ferry run out of Bellingham has been a goal of mine, and I'm happy we were able to accomplish this for the next two summers," Capacci said. "We want to keep both ships full this summer, and we're encouraged by the response we've had so far."
